Andersonville

Andersonville

Independent, locally-owned boutique shops and authentic Swedish roots create a thriving urban atmosphere. A very walkable neighborhood that has an array of dining and entertainment right along Clark Street. Anchored by the Swedish American Museum, Andersonville is known for its lack of national chains. The north side’s “restaurant strip” is home to gastropub Hopleaf, brunch spot m. henry and some of the best comfort food the city has to offer at Big Jones. The Chicago Magic Lounge brings back the timeless tradition of magic with table side performances for a night out or a family Sunday afternoon adventure. Andersonville is also home to Midsommarfest, one of the city’s most popular summer street festivals.
